Van's Sport Center's preferred method of shipping is US Postal Service. Most of the packages shipped will be first class mail. A tracking number will be sent with our shipment confirmation. Our Shipping Rates are easy to remember: All orders below $100 are $7.95 - all other orders within continguous USA are FREE. Shipping charges may apply to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. For customers wishing to have expedited shipping this option is available at an additional cost. If you wish to have products shipped using an alternate method other than USPS feel free to call us and make arrangements.
Free Shipping and Exceptions
Orders $100 or more, and within the continguous USA, qualify for free priority mail shipping. Certain qualities may result in freight surcharge, such as exorbitant weight and/or volume of package. If ordering from Hawaii or Alaska, shipping charges may apply depending on weight or size of order. Other instances that may result in shipping surcharge include order shipments that posess special service to complete delivery, such as air or ferry services. Customer will be contacted before shipment in cases where additional shipping charges are required. Customer will have choice of cancellation or payment of additional fees. Incorrect, Invalid, and otherwise undeliverable addresses
By completeing an order you are verifying and acknowledging the validity of street addresses and their acessibility for deliveries by USPS and UPS. Shipments that are not delivered or undeliverable because of an address that is unknown, incorrect, or not available for delivery are not permitted for waiving of initial order terms.
Freight and Shipping Damage
Reports of freight and shipping damage should be made within (3) three days of receival for parts or goods. Responsibility to note any damages upon signature of delivery receipt is held by the customer and or purchaser; customer should make notes of damages before signing but not refuse package based on visible damages. Upon acknowledgement of damages, it is the customer's responsibility to keep together the whole order. This includes: all packaging, both interal and external. When correct and timely reports are made of damage to van's Sport Center by the customer, Van's Sport Center will take the next step in filing a damage claim with the carrier. When damages or losses are outside of Van's Sport Center control, it is not considered justification for waiver of cancellation or refused shipments.
Delivery Signature Requirement and Unathorized Liftgate
A delivery signature is deemed necessary before outboard shipment, this requirement cannot be waived and should not justify cancellation, rejected delivery, or negate undeliverable shipment terms stated on this site. A lift gate service through the delivery freight company is not authorized upon outboard sales shipped via freight.
Lost or Inaccurate Delivery
Packages get lost or misplaced even with the most robust shipping procedures in place. Once we've handed it to the carrier, it is mostly out of our control. We will do our best to locate/reroute/replace the package. If the order is insured, we'll file a claim and get that refund issued or replacement sent. If the items are lost and uninsured, we will file a missing mail claim. Any loss if uninsured is taken by the buyer. If the order's tracking is marked as delivered and was mailed to the correct requested address, the order is out of our hands and must be dealt with by the buyer and USPS.
