Our 72-cc 2.5-hp portable outboard is the smallest motor on our roster, yet, it has some of the biggest news. Completely redesigned, it’s even more portable, easier to store and cleaner burning. It recently achieved a Three-Star rating from the California Air Resources Board (C.A.R.B) for Ultra-Low Emissions and now meets emissions requirements in all 50 states.

Our 212-cc 8-hp portable outboard features 7.5 percent more displacement than its previous design. This SOHC two-cylinder four stroke delivers a nice balance of power, performance and portability for jon boats and inflatables. Its new, shorter tiller handle makes operation more comfortable, so you can make a whole day of it.

We do our best to provide you with the best engine we possibly can. That’s why we have taken our 15 hp model and made it better by introducing our MFS15hp Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) which is the lightest 4-stroke battery-less EFI 15hp model in the industry! You can enjoy added features such as a higher power-to-weight ratio, which is the most important factor for small horsepower outboards. We also succeeded in drastically reducing sound level and vibration on our new 15hp EFI outboard. One major advantage of the EFI system is a quick startup with no choke needed and provides crisp acceleration throughout all RPM ranges as well as a significantly increased fuel efficiency at wide open throttle. Power Tilt! We’ve added Power Tilt to our remote steering/throttle models to provide you even greater operating convenience. This engine offers the same features as our standard 15hp EFI model plus an added power tilt feature for greater operating convenience. As with our other engines, you can count on it to deliver the same reliability our reputation was built on.

Boasting the honor of the lightest weight outboard in its class, Tohatsu’s newly designed MFS 20hp Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) is a great choice for a wide variety of boaters. Just because it is lighter in weight than our previous 20hp four stroke, doesn’t mean this model won’t deliver the same level of performance. This 20hp battery-less electronic fuel injection four stroke has exceptional torque and top end speed, with low vibration. We chose to build an EFI outboard because it has easy startup with no choke required and smooth, crisp acceleration throughout all RPM ranges. Another added benefit of an EFI versus our previous carbureted outboard is the fuel efficiency at wide open throttle, which allows you to go up to 50% farther on less fuel.

Also available on many models is the Power Tilt feature. The 20 hp Power Tilt is ideal for inflatable, fishing, and pontoon boats. The uniquely designed engine improves functionality and convenience with its light power tilt and transom bracket. Now you can tilt your motor out of the water with just the push of a button. Our 996-cc 60-hp High Thrust four stroke is a powerful addition to a day spent pontooning. Its SOHC four-cylinder design, composite long-track intake system and proprietary YDC-30 aluminum alloy result in a 60-horsepower four stroke that’s light, compact and generates tremendous thrust.

Our 212-cc 9.9-hp portable is an impressive little outboard with a new, shorter tiller handle for increased comfort and the option of manual or electric start. The F9.9 platform is so popular, we also offer it in a high-thrust T9.9 format. The high-thrust model offers the option of a 25-inch shaft and a V MAX SHO® sport cowl when used as a kicker on a multi-species boat.
